Human Error Publishing produces the Greenfield Annual Word Festival

The dates for 2016 are Tuesday October 18th through Sunday October 23rd, 6 days of WORDs in downtown Greenfield, MA.

Here's a quick over view of the 2016 festival schedule for you to get an idea of what we are working on and what the festival is like.

Tuesday Oct. 18th - 7:00 to 9:30
Opening Night Show at The Arts Block
Opening night show is a celebration of Human Error Publishing's Third Tuesdays which is in it's 10th year.

We will have a number of writers who have committed to present their work. See venues / schedule. Walk in writers are put in a hat and names are picked
if your name is picked you have a 5 minute slot.
Until we run out of the allotted time after everyone who has signed up. There is still time to sign up if you want to be certain to have a slot.

As an Audience member you will be treated to the amazing and diverse talent of our local Writing community. many of whom travel nationally with their writing and you will hear from nationally know writers who are coming to the festival.

Wednesday Oct. 19 - 7:00 to 10:00
At the Arts Block

1) The Mole - a night of storytelling - 5 minute true stories, no notes, no props...
2) A reading by poets at the festival

Thursday Oct.. 20 - At the Arts Block - Last year doors open at 6:30 the show starts at 7:00 - We hosted a venue in support of the Beat Poetry Festival last year that occures around the country - We are working on this years show...

Friday Oct.. 21 - 7:00 to 8:30 6 venues throughout downtown Greenfield, with 5 - 7 writers, poets at each venue. (New venues being added)

Friday Oct.. 21 9:00 show at the Arts Block
The nine o'clock shows are a showcase of poets that performed at the 7:00 venues and special quests, ask anyone who has been to one, there's are not to be missed

Saturday Oct.. 22 -

2:00 and continuing to 5:00 - At the Arts Block - and Book Fair
There are many writers signed up check venues / schedule
There is the possibility for walkin writers to be put in a hat that names will be pick for open slots that arise. This will be a great afternoon of many writers, variety is the spice of life... also there will be an on going book fair where you can find many of the writers at the festival publications for sale.. Come enjoy the words and support local writers....

Other Details
There will be a book fair throughout the festival at where you can hang with some of the amazing small presses and authors. Anyone interested in having a table at the book fair contact paul@humanerrorpublishing.com.

This festival is Free to participate in, for writers and as an audience member attending. We do ask for donations.

All 9:00 shows at the Arts Block. will have sliding scale admission.
