Human Error Publishing produces the Greenfield Annual Word Festival

The dates for 2016 are Tuesday October 18th through Sunday October 23rd, 6 days of WORDs in downtown Greenfield, MA.

The Book Fair / Book Store will take place during the festival at The Arts Block.

Venues for 2016 are:
The Arts Block will be our main headquarters for the festival. You will be able to pick up program books, see shows, hang with fellow writers and buy books at the Book Fair.

Please support all our venues, for we wouldn't have a festival without them and the writers.

Here's a quick overview of the 2016 festival:

Tuesday Oct. 18th - 7:00 to 9:30
Opening Night Show - Doors open at 6:30Arts Block 289 Main St
Opening night show is a celebration of Human Error Publishing's Third Tuesdays which is in it's 10th year.

It is suggested that you sign up before the festival, contact paul@humanerrorpublishing.com Walk-in writers are put in a hat and names are picked depending on how much time is left after those who signed up earlier. 5 minute slots.

As an audience member you will be treated to the amazing and diverse talent of our local writing community many of them travel nationally with their writing. You will also hear from nationally know writers who are coming to the festival.

Wednesday Oct. 19 - 7:00 to 9:00 - The Mole - Doors Open at 6:30
At The Arts Block 289 Main St
The Mole - a night of storytelling - 5 minute true stories, no notes, no props…
From 7:00 to 8:00 those who are new to the Mole 8:00 to 9:00 those who have participated in previous Moles Contact paul@humanerrorpublishing.com

Thursday Oct. 20 - At The Arts Block 289 Main St - Doors open at 6:30 the show starts at 7:00

Friday Oct. 21 - 6 venues throughout downtown Greenfield, with writers, poets at each venue. One of the venues has a different starting time, see below.

Friday Oct. 21 9:00 show at the Arts Block 289 Main St
The nine o'clock shows are a showcase of poets that performed at the 7:00 venues and special guests. Ask anyone who has been to one, these are not to be missed!

Saturday Oct. 22 -

2:00 to 5:00 - At the Arts Block - and Book Fair
There are many writers signed up, check schedule.
There is the possibility for walk-in writers to present their work, names will be put in a hat to be picked from for open slots that arise. This will be a great afternoon of many writers, variety is the spice of life... also there will be an on going book fair where you can find many of the writers' books at the festival for sale.. Come enjoy the words and support local writers....

Dinner break

Other Details
There will be a book fair throughout the festival where you can hang with some of the amazing small presses and authors. Anyone interested in having a table at the book fair contact paul@humanerrorpublishing.com.

All 9:00 shows at the Arts Block. will have sliding scale admission.
The rest of the festival is Free to participate in, for writers and audience.
